Caldwell Cemetery is 6.2 miles northwest of Jacksonville's public square. Located along the east edge of Section 3 in Township 15N R11 W, it is halfway between Jacksonville and Concord. Easily seen from the gravel road that lies a short distance to the south, it is well fenced and has a gate. It is likely that more tombstones are hidden in the tall, dense grass that covers this cemetery.
