This small country cemetery is northwest of
Waverly,
Illinois, Morgan County - T. 14 N R 8 W, Section 22. It is just north
of
the Little York Methodist Church. Some stones were standing in the
1950's
but cattle and people have destroyed it. For some years it was fenced
but
cattle tore down the fence and people did not replace the fence. Many
early
Morgan County pioneers are buried here. On April 13, 1975, Mr. and Mrs.
Guy W. Martin and Reuben Bates, Jr. visited the cemetery and uncovered
some of the stones. These and some known burials are in the following
list.
