Cemetery transcription by members of the Jacksonville

Genealogical and Historical Society
A broken tombstone and a foot stone lie in a fence row,
almost
exactly
in the center of Section 24 of Township 14 N Range 10 W. The site is
about
2½ miles southwest of Pisgah and about a mile south of the south
easternmost part of Lake Jacksonville. This compiler was guided to the
tombstone by Mrs. Dimmitt Trotter, Don Cully and his young son, Stuart.
A second tombstone, that of a child, was at the site as recently as
1975
but could not be found during this visit.
