Sulphur Springs Cemetery is about 1 ½
miles
east of Pisgah Cemetery. A church was formerly located at the site of
Sulphur
Springs. Adjacent to a road, a good fence and gate surround the
cemetery
in which burials are still made. Sulphur Springs cemetery is located in
the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 3 in Township
14 N Range 9 W. (Data in ( ) is information added by Myra Martin and R.

as follows: Elzy E. Conlee Dies Friday; Funeral Monday. Elzy E. Conlee,
20 Labor Drive, a retired farmer, died late Friday morning at the
Meline
Nursing Center. He was 73 years old. He was born in Morgan County April
16, 1901, a son of willis and Josephine Chapman Conlee. He was married
to Gertrude Wallbaum at Alexander June 2, 1927. She survives, along
with
three sisters, Mrs. Laura Sample of Beardstown, Mrs. Carrie Conlee of
Jacksonville
and Mrs. Annabelle Crump of Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. A
brother,
Albert Conlee; and a sister, Mrs. Bert Foster, preceded him in death.
