The exact location of this burial ground has not been found
by
the
compilers of this book. Evidence as shown in the obituary of Uel
Williams
and on page 115 of "Atlas Map Of Morgan County, Illinois, 1872"
indicates the burial ground was in the northwest half of Section 9 of
Township15
N Range 12 W. This would have it located about two miles west of Chapin
and possibly one-half mile north of the Morgan-Scott County line.
