Cemetery transcription by members of the Jacksonville Area Genealogical and Historical Society


Although this cemetery lies adjacent to a road it is not easily seen. Near the intersection of two roadways it lies on high ground to the northeast of the intersection. Southeast of Murrayville, the legal description would be in the NE¼ of Sec. 28, Township 13 N Range 10 W. In earlier days East Greasy church was situated adjacent to the cemetery. The proper name of East Greasy church was Zion Methodist.
